DAR ES SALAAM CITY TOUR ITINERARY

Welcome to Dar es Salaam, the city of dynamic, colorful culture and life. Dar es Salaam was developed form a small fishing village known as Mzizima to a big city and central point for East African business and trade.


KIVUKONI FISH MARKET

Driver will pick you from Dar Airport to Kivukoni Fish Market.  Varieties of fish in every shape and size are sold there, both retail and wholesale to the people around and outside the city.


ST. JOSEPH’S CATHEDRAL CHURCH TO THE NEAR BY ATTRACTION

Along the Samora Avenue you will see the Askari Monument and know its historical statues.  Find the Azania front Lutheran Church built hundred years ago with amazing history and nice place for the Dar es Salaam harbour view from the upper roof of the Church.


NEAR BY ATTRACTIONS 

From there you will heading to the Ocean Road Hospital through the State House. Around the area you will also have a chance to visit the Botanical garden established a hundred years ago by Germans. In the opposite side of the garden you will find get to experience the fantastic architecture and interesting history of Karimjee Hall.


KARIMJEE HALL TO NATIONAL MUSEUM 

Then we'll visit the National Museum, the house of many historical treasures with a wide variety of exhibits including archeological findings, rock paintings, foot sprints, the remains of the first humans, and more.

 
NATIONAL MUSEUM TO MWENGE CARVERS MARKET

You depart to Mwenge Carvers market, the Tanzanian Carvers Association made up of small shops stands displays, Carves of different kind, traditional dresses, the Tinga Tinga paints and more.

 
MWENGE CARVERS MARKET TO MAKUMBUSHO VILLAGE

From then you will visit the Makumbusho Village museum which is more of hands on than the national museum, exploring the whole Tanzanian country just in a couple of minutes. 

 
MAKUMBUSHO VILLAGE TO THE RESTAURANT FOR DINNER

After Makumbusho village the Driver will take you to nice Restaurant for Dinner and later driver to Dar es Salaam Airport for your flight or proceed to your Accommodation.
