Jedibe Airstrip

Jedibe Airstrip is a small safari airstrip in the central Okavango Delta of Botswana, providing fly-in access to several camps in the surrounding private concessions. It is particularly important for Setari Camp and Kala Camp, with both camps using Jedibe as their main aviation gateway. Setari's information describes the airstrip as Old Jedibe Airstrip, while Kala Camp states that guests fly from Maun to Jedibe Airstrip and then continue by boat or mokoro.





The airstrip is located approximately 17 km south of Kadizora Airstrip and 18 km west of Omdop Airstrip, placing it in the northern-central part of the Okavango Delta.





For safari clients, Jedibe is more than simply an arrival point because the onward transfer is part of the Delta experience. From Jedibe, guests can travel by scenic boat or mokoro through the Okavango waterways to their camp. Kala Camp, for example, describes approximately a 20-minute boat/mokoro transfer, while Setari Camp gives approximately 30 minutes by boat.
